Liz’s place is beautiful and peaceful! It is very private but also close to everything at the same time (restaurants, breweries, lake, Bryce ski resort, etc.) My husband and I were able to relax and recharge but adventure was right at our fingertips. Would highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at this mountain retreat! Very peaceful, quiet location. The cabin is spacious, beautifully designed with lots of amenities. Just as advertised. The entire home was extremely clean. We had so much fun playing pool, table tennis and darts in the game room. Liz is a great host, very responsive and friendly. Highly recommend.

Exceptionally clean, quiet, comfortable, well equipped, lovely, private location. Great birding, running around the lake with a swim after, and the game room is fun! You won't want to leave. Liz was a first-rate host, she's on top of it! Very highly recommend.

This place is amazing! The house is so stunning and beautifully designed. I have stayed here twice this time was for my honeymoon. If your looking for a getaway this is the place. It’s so peaceful and I love that there is a fire pit and hot tub added! This is definitely my go to place if I need a getaway.

This was a beautiful home, the kitchen was a dream to cook in. The furniture was nice and comfy . l loved the very clean hot tub . We had so much fun playing games and pool, and not to forget that master shower wow! l would definitely recommend this home for a get off the world vacation and leave your worries behind. My family and I stayed at Liz's place for a long weekend to get away and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We visited Lake Laura, Pale Fire Brew Co, and Old Hill Cidery in addition to just relaxing and enjoying the views and amenities. Liz was responsive and helpful and the cabin was clean, exactly as pictured, and peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed unwinding in the mountains and would recommend Liz's place in a heartbeat.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was absolutely beautiful—just as described—and was packed with activities and amenities that kept my pup and I entertained and comfortable throughout our visit. From the well-appointed rooms to the thoughtful touches throughout the property, it was clear a lot of care went into making this a great experience. Liz was a fantastic host—warm, welcoming, and responsive. She made sure we had everything we needed and helped make our stay even more enjoyable. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

This place is just as described! We loved the serene, peaceful views from every room, particularly from the balcony and the fire pit area. The hot tub was one of our top favorite amenities. We are quite particular about hot tubs, and this one was the perfect temperature, size, and cleanliness. The natural light that comes through the living room and kitchen each morning just gives that Zen like feeling. It's like you're in a spa retreat. Relaxing on the balcony was such a peaceful experience, especially with the soothing sounds of birds chirping in the background. If you're into birdwatching—or just curious—you’ll love the Birds of Virginia book and binoculars provided in the Airbnb. Everything about this place exceeded our expectations. There’s truly something for everyone to enjoy. We had so much fun during karaoke night and playing a few rounds of billiards. The slow, quiet mornings and the chance to reconnect with nature were exactly what we needed to unwind. Thank you, Liz!

Perfectly peaceful getaway! This home was exactly what my husband and I were looking for when planning a short trip to Basye. The location was great—tucked away in the mountains, pretty secluded, but still close to several wineries and hiking trails. The home looks exactly as it does in the photos. It was very clean, cozy, decorated beautifully, and stocked with even more than just the essential amenities. We really enjoyed walking around Lake Laura and spending the evenings stargazing from the deck. Liz was a wonderful host and very accommodating. She provided us with a welcome guide after booking, which was a helpful resource for us, and she would respond quickly whenever we reached out to her. As mentioned in the listing details, there is virtually zero cell service, so it’s a great opportunity to disconnect for a bit, but be sure to download your GPS directions before you get close to the home. Overall, I highly recommend booking this home—I know we will if we come back to Basye!

We really enjoyed our stay at Liz’s place. The check-in was smooth and the place was very clean. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub, patio, the bathrooms and the nespresso machine. Highly recommend and we will come back again.
